Cranberry Crunch Salad

This cranberry salad is sweet and tart and crunchy, satisfying all your mouth's requirements! It can be made sugar free with a couple of modifications.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg cranberry jello 6 oz. size (substitute any red sugar free jello flavor for the sugar-free version)
  • 2 cups water boiling
  • 1 cup sugar (substitute xylitol for the sugar-free version)
  • 1/2 lb cranberries fresh or frozen, chopped
  • 3 apples peeled, cored, chopped
  • 1 cup celery chopped
  • 1 cup walnuts chopped
  • 1 can mandarin oranges sm can, chopped

Instructions

  • Dissolve jello in boiling water, and set aside to cool.
  • Chop apples, celery, walnuts, oranges, and cranberries and mix together.
  • Mix sugar into the chopped ingredients.
  • When jello begins to “set”, mix jello and sugar/chopped ingredients all together in a 9 x 13 dish.
  • Chill in fridge until firm (3 to 5 hours)
