Instant Pot Pork Chops with Potatoes
This is the easiest pork chop recipe ever. And, it makes its own potatoes and gravy. Add a vegetable and you have a full meal.
Ingredients
- 2 T olive oil
- 4 pork chops medium or thin
- 12 mini potatoes approximate number
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can water
Instructions
- Brown porkchops in the instant pot in olive oil on "Saute" setting.
- Scrape brown bits off the bottom after adding a few tablespoons of water.
- In a small bowl mix, the can of soup and can of water, then pour over chops in the instant pot.
- Place potatoes on top of the chops and soup mixture.
- Cook 10 minutes on Pressure. Then let release for 15 minutes.
Notes
We often add baby carrots along with the potatoes. We are fine with the consistency of the “mushroom gravy”. But, you can experiment with your instant pot to reduce water so that the “mushroom gravy” is thicker. Or, you can use cornstarch or flour and thicken it before serving.
