Cherry Parfait
This is a delicious dessert recipe provided by Sharon Adler. It's beautiful, delicious, and perfect for a decadent and festive finish to a meal. It's especially tasty if you use Woods Orchard Door County Cherry Pie Filling.

Ingredients
- 1 can cherry pie filling 21 oz.
- 1/4 tsp almond extract
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup milk cold
- 1 pkg instant vanilla pudding 3 1/2 oz
- 2 cups whipped topping
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine pie filling and extract and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, combine sour cream and milk. Stir until smooth.
- Add pudding to sour cream and milk. Beat on low speed for 2 minutes.
- Spoon pudding and pie filling into tall glasses. Alternate layers from bottom to top…pudding, cherry filling, pudding, cherry filling.
- Top with whipped topping and almonds.
Notes
If using a 36 oz. jar of pie filling, change:
- servings: 6
- almond extract: 1/3 tsp
- sour cream: 1 3/4 cup
- milk: 1 3/4 cup
- pudding: 1 1/2 small package
