Chinese Hot Dish
This recipe is a comfort-food hotdish from Grandma Flossie Richardson's kitchen.

Equipment
- 1 Skillet for browning ground beef
- 1 2-quart casserole dish
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef browned and drained
- 2 onion browned with burger
- 1 cup celery browned with burger
- 1 can chicken rice soup
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can peas
- 1/2 cup rice uncooked
- 4 T soy sauce
- 2 cup water
- 1 dash salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 1 pkg chow mein noodles
Instructions
- Preheat oven at 350 degrees.
- Brown hamburger with onion and celery.
- Mix the browned meat with all remaining ingredients but the chow mein noodles.
- Place mixture in a 2-quart casserole dish and bake for 1 hour.
- Cover with chow mein noodles and bake or an additional 15 minutes..
